INTERVIEW: NOIZE GENERATION

Today we have a special interview from the artist known as Noize Generation. Straight out of germany the kid is killing it almost too hard right now! His EP of Ghetto Rave was released a couple months ago and it surpassed all my expectations. You can buy the EP here. Now without further ado... I bring you inside the head of NG:

So first off, we couldn't be more stoked to have you on the site! Have you been stuck in the studio at all today?

In the last 2 Months I was touring a lot and had no time to produce a lot.
But now i´ve set up a new studio at my new home in Munich and really looking forward to produce some crazy shit :)

So which city are you based out of at the moment?
Now, I live in Munich.

As a producer have you always made dance music?

Yes, I started producing dance music in 2009. But i´ve played in a Rock band before.

How did your "Noize" so to speak come about? What influenced you?

I´ve got a lot of influences. All kind of music and sounds inspires me and I´ve got ideas from everywhere. I think that´s how it has to be as musician. You have to take you´re ideas from everywhere.

Did any artists help you get started on the journey of your producing/DJ career?

I started producing and spreading my music at the same time like F.O.O.L.
We´ve contacted in myspace at that time when we had like 500 views and shared our tracks, remixes, ideas etc and it´s cool to see how all was growing on both sides. Autodidakt also helped me a lot to get into the scene at that time.

Who are some of your favorite artists out right now?

There are a lot of talented guys like The S, Autodidakt, F.O.O.L, Audionite, Super Super, Dumme Jungs, Duo Synchron and a lot of more guys.

I see you did a Super Mix for OMGITM™ back in February! It's a pretty massive record label I bet it was pretty cool to do a Supermix for them?

Yes, they have a really big fanbase. I will also release my new EP on OMGITM Records, but originally that´s still a secret. ;)

Any big plans for 2011? Major shows or tour stops? Think you'll be heading over to the US in the near future?

Yeah definately. There are a lot of cool Bookings in the next time and I´m really looking forward to them. An US tour is also planned. More details soon.

Cheers for taking the time out to chat with us!

Thanks too!
